30 June: nice idea of ornamental + herb, nice all around, deadhead, great plant, uniform.


15 July: bees love it, a little dieback, dark color doesn't stand out, one dead plant, nearly perfect size, still looks nice, good coverage, uniform, great contrast.


30 July: deadhead, more shoots starting, others still blooming, love the functionality, color seems dull, great uniformity, nice contrast between flower color and foliage, held better than I expected.

15 Aug: nice even with deadheads, still looking great, color a bit flat, still looks nice because of purple bracts, great contrast.


30 Aug: one plan dying, deadhead, fragrant, dull color, foliage still nice, good contrast, a little diseased but good for a basil, not a showy flower.

15 Sept: deadhead, some dieback.
